Keith E. Moomaw, DDS | Peter H. Roth, DDS

You deserve to have a stunning, radiant smile, one that is perfect in both form and function. At Chesapeake Contemporary Dentistry, we understand that
a bright smile means nothing if it is not supported by good oral health. Our cosmetic dentistry practice in Baltimore offers a multitude
of cosmetic and general procedures that can give you a smile as healthy as it is beautiful.
Our practice is at the forefront of modern cosmetic dentistry. We will work to ensure that your visit is a convenient and uplifting experience, free of the aches and pains that have traditionally been associated with dental treatment. As fellows of the Academy of General Dentistry, Drs. Moomaw and Roth are trained to use the most sophisticated technology available. Our office features only the finest, most modern technologies and amenities, including intraoral cameras, micro air abrasion, in-office TV and video viewing, stereo headphones, and the CAESY® patient education system. Dr. Moomaw and Dr. Roth utilize all of these tools for the benefit of our patients, and are extensively trained in all of our featured cosmetic dentistry procedures.
Digital intraoral cameras allow you to observe exactly what the dentist sees, such as a misaligned molar or a chipped tooth that’s been bothering you for months. This enriches and clarifies the explanation of the procedure in question, and helps put to rest any worries or doubts that might still be lurking in your mind. You can even receive copies of the pictures via email.
An accurate impression of the teeth can ensure a great fit for your dental restoration. The Cadent iTero™ digital impression system eliminates the chance for errors by taking a highly accurate digital image of the area to be treated. Not only does the Cadent iTero™ improve the quality of the impression taken, but it enhances the patient experience by eliminating the need for uncomfortable trays or putty. Drs. Moomaw and Roth use this technology during the creation of dental crowns, bridges, and veneers. Patients can now spend less time in the dental office, and more time enjoying their beautiful new smile.
From the cringe-inducing whine to the jarring sensation of pressure, for many, the worst part of a visit to the dentist is the dreaded metal drill. At Chesapeake Contemporary Dentistry, we understand that patients can feel apprehensive about dental appointments, and we strive to make every visit as comfortable and anxiety-free as possible. We have equipped our office with a micro air abrasion system, which uses a stream of tiny sand particles and air to gently remove decay from the a tooth. Using the micro air abrasion system also eliminates the need for a needle as the system is naturally painless, at worst leaving a gritty feeling afterwards. While the system cannot be used to treat all instances of decay, Drs. Moomaw and Roth utilize this tool as often as possible to increase patient comfort.
Dr. Moomaw and Dr. Roth want patients to know that dental appointments don’t have to be boring or uncomfortable. They have equipped their Baltimore office with amenities to help make the dental experience as enjoyable as possible. While the doctors perform your dental work, you’ll be invited to watch one of our information programs, a TV show, or a movie on our HDTVs to help you relax. Or if you prefer, you can listen to your favorite music with our complimentary earphones while our team takes care of your smile.
The most up-to-the-minute patient educational system uses the latest in visual technology to explain our procedures in the clearest terms possible, helping you fully understand exactly what to expect and when to expect it.
